My story

Laughter, Lights, and liquor, consumed my eyes, and dominated my mind.
It was the city. These were the streets. To my left was a man. He had a long sleve stripped shirt, a coffe mug of vodka, and sunglasses. It was 12 am. He was my friend. To my right, was a gap. An empty space we had been discussing for the past hour and a half.
It was reasoned between us that it needed to be filled, by a girl around 5"5", blue eyes. He said blond.I decided brunette. We walked. Speaking through closed lips and open palms. Both with an itch burgeoned upon the finger tips. We turned. We were at the main street.

It was crowded. Rooms and buildings swelled with the tides of moving legs. And in the wake, their footsteps laid. It was the city.

I licked my lips. I tasted absence. It was strong.

We were greeted by signs. They flashed of golds and reds, they sang a sirens tune , and they promised. People, women, girls, and ladies, walked. They swayed they danced and they consumed. All of them, all around me, pulling my thoughts and wants to each and all. And I did want. I wanted the energy. I wanted the pleasures, and I wanted the now. It was tangable. It was ours. It was mine.

A turn of head, and a door was found. It was a club.

"here" he motioned "i like it". We moved and entered sound.

Chairs were scattered, each one filled with finger taps, and anxious feet. Drinks spilled, and words fell. The mind was wayward. Location of the limbs, and the source of thoughts and words, became riddles for the misplaced. I sat. I watched the people. A trivial curve of lip was etched on each and every face. There was a girl. She didnt belong. I ordered a drink. The people contorted their mouths . I watched her sit. It was scotch. The crowd surged. I took a sip. Her forearm grazed mine. I looked away.

"you have pretty eyes" the girl remarked, with a lick of the lips. I turned my sight but not my body. I saw her cheeks. They were lovely.

"I should know by now. They've been on me ever since I walked in this place." she said with a smirk, and a toss of eyes, her gazed shifting to the heaving chests that littered the dance floor.

"Would you like a drink?"

"Is that really what you think I want?" she asked. She wore a red floral sundress." Do I look like an Irish alcoholic, only going out at nights for the chance of a drink ?"

"Is that a no"

"Lets dance"

"Now?"

" Yes Mr.Dublin" she smiled " now"

She stood up and walked into the culmination of flesh. I took a sip, stumbled to a stand, and followed.

* * *

The bodies groped the line of sanity as we crossed into their midst. We danced. The clocked ticked. Exhaustion befell us. We stopped. The crowd dispersed, leaving me the girl, my friend and another girl who had found her self at my friends side.

"Hey so Im hungry" said my friend"Do u guys want to go eat something". We didnt answer, because we didnt need to. Our silence was our compliance.

"Cool"

We left. I made sure to close the door behind me. Wandering past the club and through the steets we found a resteraunt. We ordered drinks.

"that place was alright" he said directing his eyes towards me, their restless behavior diplaying his desire for my agreement.

"ya man"I responed"it was cool"

" i know right" he said smiling. He turned his head and found the girl I had met.

"your pretty cute" he smirked. She giggled, but her eyes were still.

"how bout you and I go out for a little adventure after this" stated my friend.

"well what about him" she said her hands slid on the table towards the right. He was on her right.

"my buddy?" he looked over his shoulder to the other girl, while his body was directed to the girl I had found.

"you think hes cute"

"does it matter" the other girl retorted. He laughed.

"Problem solved"

We finished the drinks and parted. Him with the girl I had wanted and me with girl he had forgotten. The girl and I got a cab. We drove for 15 minutes. I made idle chat with the cab driver.

The taxi stopped and we got out. I found my self in front of her building. We walked in, we went up the elevator, I watched her slide her keys into her door, she took off her clothes and then I took off mine. Her white dress at my feet, my black shirt at her side, her black bra in my hand, and my white boxers draped across the chair. I pushed her against the wall. The breathes interchanged. Our convulsing bodies formed a web of hands and base communication. In it I was trapped. In her I was lost.

An alarm went off. Someone was breaking into a car outside the building. I was on the floor. My body let out a sigh, I was exhausted. My fingers found refuge amidst my locks of hair, as I extended my body into a long and needed stretch. I opened my eyes. I was alone.

My phone started to ring. I got up and walked to the other side of the room, finding it in one the pockets of my jeans. It was my friend.

"dude how was she"

"she was alright"

My fingers curled around the phone.

"ya? my girl was fucking wild"

"ya?"II felt a tightning in my foot. "I wouldnt know"

"hey you aint sore bout me getting the chick you found?" He inquired. His voice held no desire. My legs grew restless. " she was just another bitch man"

There was a pause.

"ya"I acquiesced.I was tired."She was just ok looking to"

"ya but a shit load of fun in the bed"

"good kisser?"

"who the fuck cares" he snorted "I wasnt worried about those lips"

I needed to walk.

"hey I go to go man" I said.

"aight peace" he state stiffly then added ""call me later"

I hung up the phone.

I left the building. I made sure to lock up.

The morning was brisk. It smelt fresh. I felt the rays of light on my neck. My eyes opened up. I walked.

The feelings of concrete beneath the soles of my shoes felt nice. To my left was a man getting mugged. To my right was a child playing with a toy on the steps of his apartment building. No one saw either. There were alot of people.

My phone rang. It was my girlfriend.

"hey baby what you doing" she cooed

"Im walking"

"why?"

I didnt answer.

"Baby?"

"I dont know"

"well thats just silly baby" she giggled. Her voice was high and lofty. "We should go and do something today"

"Uh sure" I absently stated. I was distracted by a dog.

I would be estatic on that day ...

when I can read something as brilliant as this without THAT WORD! What were you thinking?

    Sigh.

I think I must get me some sensor goggles.
