The softness of the wind
Carefully tickled around her ankles
A dark malice
Threatened the tickle
The cool air.
A grunt
Came from an unusual creature
Standing before her
With crimson red eyes
Of hatred and anguish.
The creature picked her up
From the ground
A loud scream
That came from the top of her lungs
Did not disturb the creature.
The creature only smiled
With ghastly yellow spears
That were known as teeth
That could end your life
The minute the creature chews
On the victim’s body.
Yet
For some reason
The creature held her
As if she were the creature’s child
The creature rocked her back and forth
Back and forth.
Suddenly,
The creature stood motionless
Though still tightly cradling her in
His arms.
The crackling of leaves
Caught the creature’s attention
And then he sprang off
As fast as he could.
Behind him
Were an entire
Pack of wolves.
The woods grew darker and darker
As the creature went deeper in to the woods
The wolves had caught up
And attacked.
The creature tried to hold onto her
But she slipped out of his grasp
So she feel in to the circle of wolves
And the creature tried to stop them
From eating her
But there were too many of them.
The creature turned around
And walked back to the entrance of the forest
Never to be seen again
For his short hapiness
Had been taken away.
