Came to me a flea bitten pup
Home I took you and cleaned you up
In happy times and often grave
Life of mine you often did save
Loyal companion for ten years
In times of sadness...licked my tears

 

Gave me unconditional love
I miss you so...feelings void of
Reasoning WHY?...beyond me now
Letting you go...I don't know how

There are no words suitable to console you in your time of grief and loss. I loved your Chilli girl too and wil look back on the funny things, like her dragging her butt along the carpet when the stuck up Real Estate lady was showing some prospective buyers through your house ...go Chilli girl and may you rest in peace

    A delightful piece you write in memory of such a beautiful friend. This Pup looks so loving and I am sure he has spent many an hour giving those around him all sorts of laughs and joy. Sad to lose a friend such as this and I am sorry for you and recluse-writer. I am sure Chilli girl is still there watching everything going on and keeping company. Beautiful.

    Reminded me of my loyal dog his name was Rocky
    and I know how sad it felt to have to say goodbye
