Caught me drooling between the sheets of my bed
My eyelids open but my heart shut up so quickly
I scream at you, “I can, I can!”
Jumping into sound like a scared orchestra
And a static depressed TV
I’ll turn it off again, if you look too far through me
Well, you were statuesque like the stars
Clasping your hands like a few Saints I should have met
And I don’t want to see him anymore
Shutting the curtains in the aviary, and crying so hard in the basement
Because my soul isn’t allowed up the steps anymore
No, I guess lately I’ve been way too hasty
Well, I’ll apologize with a gift wrapped in thick skin
Tough I could be if I didn’t whisper so lightly
Deadly in the dreams we discovered in our drawers and walls
Knocking them down so fast and hard
We thought we were winning battles
But we were just shaking bottles
Bottles we held too tightly till they split
Faster than our smiles during midnight conversation
I laughed at my own reflection and took a few steps back
Winter is going to be so friendly this year
It’s gonna shake our hands and our body’s
Till we’re all out cold, and it’ll be great
I’ll pose for you in photographs
Just so you know I remembered it too
The weight of it all, collapsing blues
Ouch, colors are so similar to feelings
Just like wheels and streets and unfortunate pedestrians
Flashing freedom in the middle of the night
Running back home, running back home
To find me, but I’ve already grabbed my lungs too tightly
With worry, and the breath I was too scared to breathe
All I’m really saying is,
Don’t underestimate me.

Ohhh i love gumby and pokey. GO CLAY ANIMATION. gooo goooo. I wish they still showed it on TV, what is up with that? Thats sooo lame. At least they still play Courage the Cowardly Dog and Johnny Bravo. Bless it. MAN, i wanna watch me some Gumby and Pokey. or is Gumbi? Ah dang.

LIke honestly, this was so good I cannot categorize it into a poem because it goes way out of bounds of normalcy. In fact its so different, to categorize it period would ruin the point. So it is what it is. And I absolutely loved it. Idk why but I can see this in your eyes whenever you mention his big behind, (no not the one that wears tight pants, the other one) and I'm am absolutely astounded.
