She is one of the beauties of nature
A woman in her prime
Her spirit is in tune with the earth
Her heart beats a rhythm of rhyme
The sun swims throughout her hair
Reflecting the joy on her face
The depths of her gaze hold you
Gently, yet firmly in place
The strength of all her wisdom
Flows through her
Her presence burns with grace
She shows it with quiet wonder
In her walk,hands, and face
She is Mother Nature
To know and dismiss her a crime
Her love of life is endless
For she has withstood this test
called "Time"
A woman in her prime
Her spirit is in tune with the earth
Her heart beats a rhythm of rhyme
The sun swims throughout her hair
Reflecting the joy on her face
The depths of her gaze hold you
Gently, yet firmly in place
The strength of all her wisdom
Flows through her
Her presence burns with grace
She shows it with quiet wonder
In her walk,hands, and face
She is Mother Nature
To know and dismiss her a crime
Her love of life is endless
For she has withstood this test
called "Time"

I love the ending to dismiss her is a crime. I hate seeing when people throw out litter around our parks and streams. I like how you time in a grand scheme of love. Mother Nature may get even from our self center use of her lands, air, more liter thrown without care. I was watching how global warming is affection our would. At the end it said we should care about ourselves not the earth. The earth will stand the test of time. This heart warming and brings out a softness to it theme. Very well done.

How utterly beautiful and true! The image is beautiful too. It reminds me of an Indian river called the "Ganga" (or Ganges) which flows down the foothills of the Himalayas.

This is beautiful and a joy to recite aloud. You did a wonderful job with the picture prompt and I think that's what Mother nature looks like too.

a good piece of poetry, ah mother nature and father time, they swing in circles around each other, one throwing fresh beauty into the world whilst the other takes it to decay.
