It was hate, at first sight.
Even through your bangs.
Those thick, mysterious locks.
That hid your eyes from the world.
Your menacing stare, met mine.
I felt sickened beyond measure.
Being in your presence.
Yet I felt somewhat..honored?
Special, in a sense.
To be glanced at, even for a moment.
By the fallen Prince himself.
We seemed alike, in a sense.
You a fallen prince.
I, a fallen princess.
In my own mind at least.
We killed needlessly.
Relishing each crimson drop.
That stained our blades.
Almost competing..
To see who'd end up.
With the most blood.
On their sinful hands.
The hate grew as time passed.
Or so we thought..
All we knew was that,
I thirsted for your blood.
You yearned for my death.
Yet just as quickly.
As the hatred festered.
We soon found out.
These feelings of malice.
Were just masks for our passion.
The darkness inside of us.
Abruptly collided at last.
And it meshed together.
Into a sick, tangled shadow web.
Like barbed wire.
Wrapping itself like a noose.
Around our jet black hearts.
Yet carefully intertwined in that.
Was my twisted love for you.
And your mangled love for me.
Oh what I wouldn't give.
For just one, tainted night.
In your icy embrace.
Your stone lips.
Colliding with mine.
I'd give my soul.
My life.
Even my heart.
If it wasn't yours already.
We'd share one blissful moment.
Til the sun came up.
And forced us to part ways.
Yet, I'd be in your arms again.
By the time the sun went down.
And we'd tightly hold hands.
In the soft glow of the moonlight.
And as I drew my blades.
And you drew yours.
I'd whisper in your ear.
Ever so softly:
"We'll paint this night crimson.
Just you and me together.
Let me be your princess.
Forever and ever. ♥"
Even through your bangs.

Author notes
Well this started as a poetry..thing my anime club had. We picked an anime character we liked (I chose Belphegor from Katekyo Hitman, Reborn!), a genre (we picked at random, I got stuck with romance. but I always write morbid-ish poems, so I had to combine both. blahh), and wrote away. Eh, epic fail!!!! ^_^
Eh....?
