Peace

Peace in the River, peace in the soul
Peace "over ALL" to make you truly whole
Peace that comes through surrender at the cross
Liberating peace lifting lighter from all burdens lost

Heavenly peace, "spirit-life divine..."
Flowing ‘in-, through, and out" like River-wine
No ‘holds bard,’ there’s vision to see so far
Peace that comes like a highway Star

Peace that abides and frees us, not to hide
Peace that is Light, concealing strife’s fight
Peace that  is heaven in the soul, without sin
Mixed with glory to roll one’s problems onto Him

Peace that’s secure, from Satan’s lure
Founded on the Apostles of Christ, for each cure
Peace despite the storm, rock-anchored still
Peace that is strong, like an iron will

The peace that passes understanding
Peace-, breaking down all walls of defense
The peace that appropriates rest
The peace of ‘Life’ and 'success'

Peace of ‘single mindedness' of purpose and vision
Peace that has nothing to do with ‘religion’
The peace of Love and the peace of the Truth’
The peace of ‘establishment’ and that 'of youth'

Peace which brings open, free-flowing, communication
It's the Holy One of Israel who brings reconciliation
Peace comes with Wisdom and knowledge of the wise
Men of revelation who have little fear or disguise

Peace transforming in times of sorrow and shame
Peace bringing confidence despite man's foolish game
I tell you, ‘it’s true,’ there’s nothing like God’s peace
Can you feel it now... oh, the sweet river of release
