I turn left, right,
side to side, and
I see you, Him, and them.
All of you who have issues.
Issues? Please, I don't crib.
Issues with my big glasses,
dark poetry, self-injury,
darkened eyes,
reserved talks, strange tantrums,
convoluted vocabulary,
impenetrable philosophies,
judgmental approaches,
annoying nasal voice,
my loud sexual desires,
and the nagging depression.
You keep having issues,
but you don't listen,
you never listen,
you never
ever ever listen.
But, I look into your eyes
find your arms
sink in your poetry,
dance with your feet
listen to your questions,
worries, memories,
and wanderings.
I listen to you say,
'I love you.'
I assure you,
it's not only you,
but all human eyes
that pretend
this love and hate
for me.
Then, it is me
who has to turn
back on my knees
with heavy tears
in these old eyes
making my make-up run...
I have to beg,
"Oh God! Please...
at least, you...
Include my name
in the list of your favorites."

Inspiring and insightful
Hi there have not stopped by in some time, but am glad to get here to say hello and what a fantasic write this is! I like this: impenetrable philosophies,
judgmental approaches,
so many of us even sometimes though unaware adopt mental attitudes against one another for all sorts of dumb reasons, you brought this to light so well in your poem
Great inspiring read!

Brilliant poem.
This is a wonderfully written poem, with so many different layers of things to consider, and lots of wonderful imagery. It flows well and evokes a lot of emotion.
You've written a real fine piece of poetry here. Well done.
