My Rain sings to me
composing a lovely symphony on my window.
She is my companion.
She, who soothes my sorrows and erases my worries.
I fall asleep in her soft arms when she comes
I fear nothing when she’s here.
Rain washes away the dirt from my soul
as though it were her purpose.
She proposes dancing and laughter
as if nothing had happened.
I forget myself in her presence,
throwing caution to Wind.
If only all were akin to my sweet Rain.
