Indifferent

Everything is suddenly numb to me
This year has been like a hazy dream,
Nothing felt real to me, nothing.
My emotions have become exceedingly simple
Anger, Depression and Confusion are about all that’s left.

There is one thing that feels closer to reality,
A tugging on the strings of my heart,
Love…
      …with some added confusion,
I can not tell what his feelings are and I do not wish to betray the dead.

What’s dead my be lost,
But Memories still haunt terribly,
He’s been gone so long…
        …but it still confuses me.

    ive learned that somehow the more complicated a situation gets the more simple the emotions get, that can be invigorating or deathly. just watch yourself hold on tight.
