Who Are You...

Who are you under all that skin?
Who are you within that muscle?
Who are you made up bones?

Here we shall explore what is under our skin,
here we can share what animates muscle,
here we can strip down to bare bones.

Is this us, beyond our skin?
Is this us, out of our muscle?
Is this us, without our bones?

We are here, without our skin,
we are here, beyond our muscle,
and here we have met, no bones within.

Let us find what is under our skin,
let us share what moves our muscle,
let us dig down to one another’s bones.

Outside of here, we have five senses,
outside of here, we’ve warmth and breath,
outside of here, we’ve shape and form;
but it is all meaningless
without that which we are sharing here...

    Our xray viewed by all

"Let us dig down to one another’s bones" is a framework indeed for what we accomplish here on AP. Our words are the light and dark mires and shadows of our xray, guiding all readers to what is broken and what is intact, what holds us together and makes us fall apart. Sometimes we cast each other into roles that we may not want, always hoping to be cast as support, motivation, and healing. In the end, we simply autograph to mark we were here. Your last line is our guide, and may we share it well.

and it may simply be that- support, motivation, and healing, and the resulting feelings thereof...
