I’ve forgotten how to care:
Heart’s a void, there’s nothing there.
I just want to numb the world.
This is more than I deserved:
Given life and asked to live it,
And this pain: I can’t forgive it.
Leave me by the way, and say,
One day this might be okay.
I don’t want to die;
I want my chance at living.
I don’t want to cry,
Cos tears are unforgiving.
I don’t want to bleed;
I want to see it healing.
I don’t want to need
Somebody else’s feelings.
