Chrous:
What honest man is there,
Who takes his clothes off...
Has his way and leaves,
Before you've smiled?
What honest woman's name,
Is soon forgotten...
Who'd give you the time of day,
That's worth your while?
Steve, Peter, or Shawn
Might be his name.
He came and went,
And says, "Don't hate the game."
He.....
Told you he'd call you,
But then...he went there,
Sometime, a little later,
He'll try it again.
Betty, Tina, or Jackie
Is always high-steppin'...yeah.
Flashin' her smile or goodies,
Is all the same.
She's....
The type of woman,
A good mother surely warns you about,
Cause no decent woman,
Would just toss her thang.
What honest man is there,
Who takes his clothes off...
Has his way and leaves,
Before you've smiled?
What honest woman's name,
Is soon forgotten,
Who'd give you the time of day,
That's worth your while?
Bridge:
Why, yes...
It takes all kinds of folks,
To make the world go round,
Some come and then leave this Earth,
And themselves they've never found.
When is there time to feel,
The power of love....
In place of shame?
It might just be,
The worlds remedy....
Please tell me what you think

this is one of the better songs I've read on AP, it makes me want to try one myself. I also think you use the medium of songwriting well, which, IMO is to say something important, not just love, although others might disagree, nice personal venting.
