emitting noxious exhaust
in emerald gusts.
Cauterizing raw nerves
with caustic emotion,
stomach acid sears the lining
and invades the blood.
Liquid boils and skin shreds,
arteries pop and bloom in purple pustules,
verdant plasma leaks from pores
and stains all reason.

If I ever experience envy I'll let you know if this is right. It sounds like envy. It sounds better than what other people write. It's definitely better than anything I could imagine and it's hard to imagine that you've actually felt this way before. Maybe you just know someone really well who felt like someone had one up on them, because - You.Are.The-Shit. And if it's just a regional thing (my slang) it means you're kickass.
