Sadistic Pleasure

A word,an uttering, a question i ask.
If you please give me one last chance?
And yet a smile, a grin grows wide upon your face
Amusement it seems has befallen this sad place.

why must you make me suffer?
why must i feel pain?

Eyes growing wide
Frustration deep inside.
Could i? Have i?
possibly changed your mind?

An outburst of laughter
tumbles from your mouth
and into my ears,
a sick joke you have taken
to my bitter tears.

Is all life a joke?
a mere pleasure of pain?

of course for one to be this twisted
one would certainly have to be insane.

    Welcome to AllPoetry

The almost simplistic flow of thoughts and emotions in this piece reminds me of the original Psycho movie - with Lyn Curtis - you had to imagine that horror and the pain she suffered from the knife ... this is quite similar; almost story-telling, making this very enjoyable for me to read

The bitter truth of how one can be in life and relationship is shown in this - some are insane like this unfortunately

    Excellent poem mate
