Although this poem was about your nieces, I'm sure that any reader passing by can find sentimental truth to this poem. I at least know that I do. With only 6 days left before I depart to begin my new journey, I certainly draw from every jmspiration of encouragement I find. I also understand the feeling, with my baby niece and nephew.
It brings me back to a time a little over 7 months ago when we were making our new years solutions. When you and I vowed to take what was ours in 2009, and let go of all that held us back. I remember that night quite well, December 27th of last year when both you and I were feeling a bit down and out.
Anyway, I must say that I think we've done a marvelous job thus far and I know that I'll have your continuous support. So in a way, as narcissistic as this may sound, I could almost hear you saying these words to me as I was reading along.
My friend Bonny asked about you yesterday. She was the one who took me to get your Christmas gift. As much of a broken record as this will sound like, I said to her what I've said so many times to so many people.
"Although I've never met her formally, she is still a trusted friend of mine."
You set a standard for myself and the world to follow of hard work and compassion. Superb job on the pom.

I miss those girls more and more every day .. sadly.
and it sucks so much that all I want to do is just give them the hugest hug. I hope quite often that I am the one that they come to in the future when they need anything at all .. truthfully.
