you mix joy and pain until they're indistinguishable, and when you talk about platypus eyes and crucified babies Gaia stops to listen, reveling in the sunny hailstorm, maelstrom.

you are an alligator with the jaws of girlhood and a mind unlike anything before it.
you are a precedent.



does that make sense?
I wish I could write like you. I wish I could chalk movie reviews on a driveway, screaming things like 'postapocolyptic' and 'prenatal' into the stratosphere and not hide on Perelandra afterward.




I read books.
you write them, compacting Everything because that's what you love.



you have a phantom, a modern Apate, and you're still brighter than anyone I know. one handed, you capture the universe in a metaphor, wandering toward Aglaia and murmuring, "where did all the stars go?"

with plastic buttons you frown at the world, asking why you're special and turning rainbows into something for grownups.




you are something fucking unbelievable.
you are something worthy of an expletive.

Gaia = earth
Aglaia = personification of bright splendorous magnificence
Apate = goddess of deceit
Pandeia = goddess of brightness
(greek mythology is love.)
