we died every day to ourselves,
the chains of anxiety holding us captive no longer?
What if
we ran every day
into the arms of our loving Savior?
What if
we believed every minute,
that He values us more than anything else on the face of the earth?
What if
we never forget for a second
our broken beauty in the eyes of our Lord?
What then?
Author notes
Yes, it's a Christainity-themed poem. It was basically the theme in chapel today. We heard the story of a man who chose to bring his mind to God every minute of every day, and he kept a daily journal of that walk. He described his constant focus on how much his Creator loved him, and human kind in general, and how he was free from so much of the anxiety that had once plagued him. How he knew for certain that, though he was working, God was right alongside him in everything. And I thought, "I want that." So I'm going to try it. This is a challenge to you also, if you are a Christian. "How far will you allow God to carry you in this hour?"

Wow. I really REALLY like that first line. If you ever need anyone, you know I'm here. I hope you learn a ton through this... and whatever you learn, please tell me.

It's not a horribly painful process or anything, at least, not yet, lol, but thanks.
And I'll do my best to keep you updated about it!
