our feet & hands, make them kiss.
Blast this one, burn this car
lab-rats are what they are.
We play with lives like gambling games
setting this city up in flames
Let souls fly, whine & scream
what does it matter to kill someone's dream
Bodies scatter along the streets
Oh, let's have a beer, have a treat.
Raise a toast, celebrate their death
hear widows run out of breath.
We'll dance on their piercing cries,
painting with red tonight's skies.
Lit the fire, turn faces sad
kill all the beauty in Baghdad.
The city of death make it named
By terrorists' glory let it be ashamed
They are dead, kudos to life
we're evil, thus we survive.

Author notes
Yesterday 95 people were killed and 536 wounded as six trucks exploded near government ministries and other targets at the heart of Iraq in Baghdad.
Pray for their souls! May the dead rest in peace... and the wounded find comfort...
Thanks for reading!

Great feeling in this!! god bless

I'm still confused about how we ended in this damn war!
seems it was built on lies and un-founded propaganda...
I sure hope the Iraqui people will benefit from the high cost they've all
had to pay...
I guess we wont know the answers to....
was it all worth it......until years and years from now!
The tragic story of Iraq has us all frustrated!

My heart goes out to everyone of those people in that incident. I always wonder why when love is supposed to be the ultimate sacrifice in this world, why some think this is the ends to a means. We are strange animals, humanity seems to spiral somewhere I can't imagine anymore.
May one day your country find its peaceful heart again

Your poetic voice is so appreciated...Thank you for your brave stand against violence..Anti government and Al Queda seem behind it. But who knows.. All I know is that I pray you are safe dear heart.. You are so special. Lovely rhyming penning!

Yes- I know, and that is why I am glad you are not still there. It sounds like an Al Queda operation to me due to its size and complexity. Animals who do something like that are like cancer cells, one cannot wish them away, nor negotiate with them, they have to be hunted down and destroyed as rapidly as possible to save the whole. Muslims killing Muslims is simply crazy and the fault does not lie with the Iraqi people, but rather with external forces. It is a tragedy and a real shame so many have to die for an illegitimate belief.

You stay safe you hear Noor??
Love ya,

Dad

THIS TOUCHES DEEP SIS!!!!
As I read each day of yet another attack, another bombing, I say to myself when will this end!
I love ancient history and know in your country there is a fantastic ancient culture, so much knowledge. A culture to be proud of and now with these different sects fighting for power with the help of other countries terrorists my heart bleeds.f:'s
