I sit back,
and take it slow,
breathe in deep,
at least now I know.

I thought we were magic
but you weren't really feeling my flow,
I guess thats cool,
Now I know.

You were attractive,
but I could have gone for taller,
but I loved your personality,
I could see beyond your face.

When we were alone,
there was intense passion,
but that was not unusual,
Men are ambiquious creatures,
they have the ability to touch your soul,
and then walk away, and leave you alone.

I could see myself with you,
working it through.
but you knew,
I'm not upset... cause now I do too.

Some might find it impersonal to email,
but I'm grateful,
thats how you chose to do it,
I feel the relief from your confirming words.

As I stand back,
I knew it too,
cause I saw an immense future,
but you always had a limited view.
