She worked
minimum wage
And she took,
but she never gave
And they couldn't see
what she had hidden inside
Under similar skin,
she was the perfect lie
Oh, she worked
in the underground, yeah
And she burned
just to tear them down
And she took,
but she never gave, man
To look in her eyes,
it was just like being saved
She broke me down
She took her start with my mind
then worked her way down south
'til I was hers, she was mine
our lives were mouth to mouth
Built me up from the ground
from the heads of her enemies
She gave me all that I am
man, I had a hard time sleeping (at night)
She took me under her wing
in a different tree
And she made me still sing,
but in a different key
'Til I was sharp as a tack
making those Molotovs
She said “It's time to begin.
I've got the perfect job.”

Author notes
A draft of a piece of a concept-album... mostly, it speaks for itself.
Man becomes alienated from dystopic society (George Orwell? Ayn Rand? Trent Reznor, anyone?)... man joins underground anarchists... man gets caught and put on trial... sentenced to be guinea pig in rocket-ship experiment... gets shot into space... faces the nothing... lands in ocean, swims back to shore, and anonymously becomes normal, functioning member of society.
