A shot in the dark

Toil of reaping now is done,
and I sit beneath a gnarled oak tree
to raise a glass of summers past
to the queen of night,
the waxing harvest moon.

    BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I have done this but it was so long ago way back on my grandfather's farm! Such relaxing moments after a hard days work lying under the moons soft light!

What a beautiful little painting! I have always loved the harvest moon, and to see her so beautifully crowned here is a joy!
