Ocean Wishers

Moon-whipped shadows skid across the planes
As spirits rise up in
          turquoise ecstasy
Gouging out their eyes in
              sea-side jealousy,

Thundering for her attention;
"Goddess!" They cry, voices like rain,

"We are here."
