My idea while writing this poem was that the speaker is the sufferer of abuse and the requests are ironic rather than literal. The words of the poem reflect those of the abuser more than anything the victim would ever really say: that they were asking for it, that they only do it because they get them so fired up, etc. The BDSM interpretation is equally valid. Take it as you wish.
