Nature

The trees whisper
Gentle lullabies and
Hushed secrets as
Mosquitos learn from
The wind and
Bite at open skin.

The lake breathes
Letting us inhale
The sweet scent
That drifts over
Its water.

You lean to me and
Whisper
"It's Beautiful..."

Your voice melts
My heart of ice
And brings a smile
To my iron face.

You grasp my hand
And i lean to you
And say
"It pales in comparison..."
