I'd love to write a sonnet here and there
To tease the readers minds with rampant rhyme
Such poetry I have I love to share
So write a verse or two from time to time
I'd sonnet all my readers to the skies
And praise their taste in reading rhyming verse
It's pleasing to the ears and to the eyes
Another form would always seem much worse
Italian or English styles will do
There's many other sonnet forms as well
So here's a sonnet written down for you
If it's not what you like the go to Hell!!!
