Mother,
May you please accept me for who I am,

Oh wow ... my heart stopped reading this, I'm not sure exactly why except that this holds power in the words and emotions
It makes my heart bleed that a parent wouldn't accept their child and you only wish they could at least through letters ... beautifully scripted darling!
Congratulations on the Bronze

Sweet,
Hope this is just the muse but if not, know I can so relate
It took YEARS for my Mom and I to "connect"; to bond...
I was the "rebel" child; the "demon seed" and no matter what I did or said, it just wasn't good enough
Due to a number of events and MUCH prayer, we now, finally, have a mother/daughter relationship
I pray that it doesn't take YEARS for you and your Mom if this is not just the muse
Love ya loads,
Sandy

Much feeling has been put into these few words...it is almost like a plead or a prayer.
I think there is much beyond the prompt in this piece my friend. I hope that everything is alright
Be well Sweetie!!
