to me she seems lost and alone
confused and hurt
not sure what to do not just in life
but with everything else

known as the school slut
she looks like she's proud
i'm sure she's hiding it
deep within her mind

attempting to get pregnant
i think she thinks it may help
things to get better
i'm not sure

she has so much anger
i'm not sure if its cause she's hurt
or if she's scared

caught up in drugs
a baby on the way
a freshman in high school
no friends to help her get through

giving up on her dreams
because of the choices she made to be free
not that she's free she has a baby on her hip
and one on the way

she doesn't see whats real
doesn't see whats made up and
make believe

looks at the scars on her sisters arms
she see's hurt and pain and
for no reason blames herself

shot and killed last night
she got caught up in the wrong crowd
she left this world with one thing on her mind

so precious and sweet
nothing she wants more to have fun
live her life right

lost in this world
and now she's gone
no chance to set right

she had so many chances
none of which she took
and now those who love her
are left with everythign to clean up

a family in morning
doesn't know what they did wrong
there fourteen year old daughter
she is now gone
