Ha ha this is great . I love those birds and how they will stand around you on the beach hoping for something to eat. While I was on my honeymoon a few years back, my new hubby and I were eating ice cream and those birds kept sqwaking at us for a bite of our cones. lol

    Enjoyable haiku

    Very nice

    Hi Andrew:
Well, the Seagull could be the lucky recipient of such a disaster, or at least part of it. Simple words, good observations and a wonderful Haiku. Good luck in this contest, you have done a very nice write. Bill

It brought a smile to my face, Andrew. I know that laugh...it's almost diabolical... right before they swoop in for the kill, those greedy gluts. It's not so much they are laughing *at* you--it's more "ha ha ha it's MINE MINE MINE!!!" LOL. Fantastic haiku (as always )

hehe. Awesome image represented. Seagulls can be brutal when there is food to be had. Good job. Keep it up!
