Paige
Nervous, artistic, broken, withdrawn
Oldest of two, a younger brother, she raised
Who likes writing, thinking, music, and games
Who feels abandoned, alone, abused
Who needs to know that someone cares
Who gives everything in hopes of something in return
Who fears memories, dreams, relationships, and pain
Who would like to see her brother smile, just once
Resident of the United States, uprooted sixteen times
Sperry
Author notes
I hope I did this right. Never done one of these before.

You did a wonderful job, and I thank you. You have a lot of sadness in this, which is hard to write about, but you did it very well.

Such sadness here...often pain and fear shape us but don't dictate who we can become. Strength can come from adversity

Oh, how sad, Paige; yet, your talent has given us a picture of the spirit within you. You are talented, though I note only one flaw that will rob you time and time again: you give all in hopes of a return. The return of all we give comes only when we can give all without expecting or even wanting anything in return; for it is only then that we allow God to bring the good to us.
Very well done, sweetie.
