There was a river
so it's said
that flowed along
a grassy bed
the sun shone down
and cast its hue
upon the water
crystal blue
until such time came
that when
the river parted
'round a bend
away they flowed
torn apart
the breaking of
the rivers' heart
the land turned dry,
parched and cracked
the sky it turned
an oily black
they cried from pain
they cringed from fears
but none can see
a river's tears
and along this bank..
jagged rocks adorned
where two now one
two souls are torn.....
on and on and
on it goes
parted waters
swirl and flow
they prayed one day
the wound would mend
and they could be
together again
then one day
it came to be
they were united
in the sea
and glowing in the
setting sun
the division is fused
the divided are one.

Author notes
This is the momst positive thing i have written. Strange that it was so easy to compose seeing as how everything else that comes from is of a much darker nature.

This was so pretty, except more. It's hard to put the right word to something that is filled with so much emotion. Peaceful, tragic and then beautiful.

I loved it, the mixed emotion in this, is life.
I loved the last stanza, it left a soft smile and it sets imagination free...
Three Ecstatic bunnies for you...
