The Last Surviving

Under the trees
Beyond the mountains
Into the forest
Gliding past the black lava
Enveloped in fear
We two march on

The forest will eat you alive; the black lava will melt you inside
Glimmer of hope, walk ahead
Legacy of elders, we must not fail

Under the trees
Beyond the mountains
Into the darkness
Beyond the reach of the sun
Enveloped in fear
We two march on
Bloodshot eyes see no future
Betrayed by hope
Serpent tongues tell no truth
Crooked backs waiting to crack
Enveloped in fear
We two march on

Apon high places
With their heads held high
Leaders of men
Fight the last battle
To survive
While they fight and fall
We two must flee
The unborn will see
The light of dawn

The seventh son of dawn
Alone he stands atop lonely hill
Unfaltering his will, untiring his gaze
Silent rooted, mightier than the tallest of oaks
He is the one born from sacred sun
The one to rule the day
The one to guard the night
Block the paths of demons
And alight the hearts with honor
The one to see it all
And in shadows shape his spawn
He is Vord
To him we flee
Desperate attempt at life
Pathetic in the eyes of the gods
But we must prove them wrong
Champion we must hail
Allegiance change
Leave our selves behind
And carry on only the soul
Which is the purest gift
That we must restore

Under the trees
Beyond the mountains
Into the forest
Gliding past the black lava
Enveloped in fear
We two march on

I gaze into her eyes which make my mind pure as the shining moon light
She carries forth the last hope
Of all mankind
It must be seen to that the unborn survives
And lives to rule
The earth his pride
We service his coming
By our sacrifice
Blessed be him the Lord
Who will arrive
The coming fortnight

And we march
Under the trees
Beyond the mountains
Into the forest
Gliding past the black lava
Enveloped in fear
We two march on

No fear will stop us
For love binds its protective spell
And hatred gives us wings
As we march...
