Say good night to the fairies,
The twisted thanes of yester years,
Rippled reflections in a broken blade,
Refracted hopes of tomorrow shine,
The iridescent light of absolute darkness,
Irrevocable demands of a child's ghost,
Shuttered brilliance of a mind in captivity,
Wind's frigid fingers trailing warmth,
An empty chalice to serve the masses,
Silent halls filled with echoing screams,
The lustre of faded innocence,
Eyes shining with their patina,
A lacklustre world when vision unhindered,
Portals closed,
In nights embrace light beckons,
The fairies path no longer awry,
Chiselled thanes inspiring in their justice,
An undulation of images in a forged blade,
Collected hopes play their merry melody,
Shimmering light encompassing the dark,
A child's simple awe with life,
Expanding awareness of a mind with no chains,
Sun's silky touch carried with wind's caress,
An overfilling vessel filled with adventure for one,
Echoing halls paused in a joyous epiphany,
Squalls of an innocents newborns first breath,
Gossamer veils lifted as eyes see truth,
A cacophony of images in a world freshly seen,
The miracle of dreams.
