we haven’t
travelled this slow before
                       the sky is still masked
                       by powder silk satin

and eyes tiptoe
into hollows where
slumber aches with
                           solitude

           the happy dead
bob over skyline
and link light

to stretch twilight
       of moments
over lens and glossed paper

    Excellent...

especially your second stanza. But the entire write is perfect and an excellent entry well done. Congrats on the HM.

Oh wow, this was just stunning.
Your imagery always feeds my mind
full & craving more. I love the
    simplicity here, yet the complex
    metaphor. Amazing work as always.

Best of luck & thanks for entering

very nice. first two stanzas my personal favourites, great use of words. Love the shape of it. And even a tilda in the authors notes... perfection!!!

Beautiful. I think the last full stop was the best one.

lol... see I wasn't sure whether to leave that one in or not.
      Glad you liked it.
Of course it's not finished yet, I was thinking about adding a comma or semi colon, I don't know, but maybe you could check back when I've added a bit more to it

I'm glad you left it in. Would have been lost without it. semi-colon? really? I think it could do with something a little more exotic to spice it up - perhaps a curly bracket, or even my favourite, a tilda ~
it says so much about someone... ;o)

it's really shaping up to be a good one...
