When the world seemed at an end.
He became my saving angel.
He became my best friend.
He showed me how to live.
Gave me the hope I had forsaken.
Got my life back on track.
From the destructive path I'd taken.
He lifted me from the darkness
Without a passing thought.
He brought me to light,
From the darkness that I sought.
I do not think he knows
How much he has done.
He's forever in my heart.
He's my One and Only 'One'.
My heart & soul are forever his.
That much, I know, is true.
I don't say it often enough, but
Darling, I love you.
