The Sun

Peeks over the horizon
Then stretches sleepy arms
Then slowly pulls itself out of bed

Arms extended and legs too
Birds cry out their welcome
The sun soon pulls itself up high

Then it goes down a sticky slide
Going down very slow
Soon its back in its bed, sleeping until later
