Drunken words are trapping me
They’ve got my hands tied back
And a hold of my feet
And careless sex is calling me
To a one night stand on your street
Flashes of white are haunting me
Scars of war and cries for peace
This love is where I’m falling
Don’t let me go
Cause I’m trying not to fall here
And i know who you are
But I’ve seen who you can be
“Somehow you’re gonna save me”
Is the tragedy I’m painting
Tearless eyes flushed with green
Captivate me
They tell how beautiful I can be
Truthful lies
And deceiving smiles
Are all I see
And I can’t believe
I’m falling again
Drunken words have trapped me tonight
