dishonesty bleeds from every word you speak,
and my trust in you slowly dissipates day by day.
your eyes tell a different story.
I can see another side of you.
a hidden side of secret passion and care,
emotions meant for someone else.
finally you admit your feelings for the girl next door,
and my dreams of us, together and happy, die.
how come it's her on your arm,
when I was the one who told you the monsters weren't real?
they're only a figment of someone's imagination in a movie.

O.o Weird take on it. I don't know if it's about lovers, or mothers. Lol. I say this because, It obviously shows the love. And holding on the arm.. But would lovers tell each other the monster isn't real..? But then again.. It may be symbolic, and im to lazy to think. ^^ Heehee
