Silver Machines

Missing image
They’re flying around in their silver machines
Somewhere way up in the blue
They’re winging around and they’re making no sound
They’re making their way down to you

They’re flying around in their silver machines
In the nights when the sky is so black
They’re giving you glimpses of things that might be
They’re out there and they’re coming back

They’re flying around in their silver machines
In the heavens of blue up on high
They’re giving you hope where there’s no hope to give
They’re flying right into your life

They’re flying around in their silver machines
In the heavens where the stars twinkle bright
They’re coming on down and they’re hanging around
They’re waiting for the time that is right

They’re flying around in their silver machines
They’re here and they’re here to stay
They’re bringing us out of the darkness we’re in
They’re here, they’re not going away

They’re flying around in their silver machines
They’re waiting and watching with care
They’re taking their time, they’re making no haste
While they watch us from somewhere out there

well with 100,000,000 stars in our galaxy and 100,000,000 galaxies in the known universe...there must be life....let's hope that if they find me they use me for sexual experiments...mmm..no.... then again... let some one else try.....hahah.....a great poem..well done..a nice light hearted though about life "out there" but at another level which i'm sure you have considered..what would the implications be for our religious and political systems if they visited...maybe there is after all a cover up..mmmm..nice poem...you know have me thinking AGAIN..lol

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. I have not only considered the implications of their arrival, but welcome it. I believe the governments all over have for too long treated the populace with contempt. Religion should have a broader view but sadly does not. After all, it is Gods universe and he created it all. I have a huge collection of things relating to this area of science and you would be surprised how much these beings from elsewhere fit in with the bible and other well known profits, such as Nostradamus. Thanks so much for reading and leaving such a wonderful comment. Now, I am hungry and off to get a large plate of Macaroni and cheese.

Enticing (if somewhat worrying!!!) treatment of the subject
Your flow is liquid and the content beautifully smile inducing, great stuff!

Thanks, mate. Not half as good as your piece but I wrote with intent. This piece was to let those know that we are not alone and that we have friends watching out for us. Thanks for stopping by and I really do appreciate your reading.

Thank you for posting such a tremendous poem. I think they are watching us and waiting for the appropriate time to intervene. Our governing bodies don't seem to be able to work together for the benefit of everyone. There must be another way. Wonderful piece of writing dear poet, giving us a glimpse of hope for a real future.

Thanks, Bob. I am sure there is someone watching us out there. At least, I hope so cause we are in dire straights here and need a push in the right direction.

I am sure they are "C", and have my own thoughts on this subject. I don't think for one minute earth is the only planet with lifeforms. They probably watch us like we watch tv,and find it mind boggling that we would want to fight wars and inflict so much cruelty on our fellow man. Great write my friend...mal

hmmm.... now to be honest I do believe that we are being watching. I do not believe that God in all his wisdom would stop with just us... I think he has other toys to play with. Thanks for sharing this interesting write with us.

I think, perhaps I've been one
    For I'm purple and red
    and have a big head
I know that I'm not keen one

Love it, a great little tale and who's to say it is not true
