When the world is spinning outside my door
and it seems crazy and pointless to see
I turn to meet your emerald eyes
which play a movie starring me.
I step forward to pull you close
swing you in a swaying dance
while our two hearts circle forever
locked in a lover's trance.
Outside the world becomes a still-life
while time seems to freeze in place
as I count the eternity of my dream
gazing at your sweet perfect face.
We kiss with roses entwined together
growing warm in moments tender
as once was two becomes one
single heart beats surrender
