Beauty in your soul
I do see
As lucky, I am for your friend to be.


Without you,
I do not know what I'd do
As friendship, among us, grew.


Not only are you my friend,
I love you so much more...
You are the friend I so much adore!


Here for you,
I will be forever
As distance, an obstacle will never be.

This short poem is dedicated to a friend of mine. A wonderful, sweet,beautiful soul and poetic warm loving heart whose poetry has done so much to me. It has uplifted me and given me a reason to smile when I felt like I didn't have a reason at all. Thank you.

    whata soulful tribute.....you did choose the words so craefully and placed them well. I loved the flow as well. This was an overall a very inspiring poem...I guess i should right one each for some friends here.Please visit me and comment me.

    How beautiful this is, simple words at times will lift a spirit much higher and give solace and comfort to a friend that sometimes might doubt themselves.

    Excellnt poem.

    This is a very touching tribute to a friend who obviously means a great deal to you. To me it is very evocative of memories of loved ones and friends. The words you’ve chosen are tender and moving. I would make just a couple of suggestions. In the third line I don’t think you need the comma after lucky. In the second stanza, third line, I would change among to between. Apart from these very minor details you have written a beautiful piece that I shall read again. It’s very well and tenderly written.
