Hearts Made Out of Paper

Gather the brightly colored papers
Take out the silly shaped utensils
Find those oddly fanged scissors
And get that good sticking glue

We’re going to put it together
Piece by self cut out piece
We’ll find out who we are
By building each others heart

Cut into paper flesh to make a shape
With ridged and smoothed edges
Over lap each color that is held together
By glue oozing out from the flaps

Sprinkle moody glitter onto the white lines
Make that paper breathe like it’s alive
Let it dry and start on the folding
To make this colorful heart stand in 3D

Once it has been blown out and the walls are strong
We’ll start painting over it with some red colored blood
Be careful with the shading that is each others secrets
The things only we were meant to see
