Double Standards

I am happy but sad,
I am full of spirit but I'm down,

I have wings but they're broken,
I can fly but I can't go very high,

I am a golden coin but I don't shine at all,
I am the lucky side of the penny but rusted out,

I've got flair but it's dull,
I have the wildest style but it's outdated,

I am gentle but blunt,
I can forgive but I prefer to hurt,

I smile but it's too easy,
I make laughter but at your expense,

I am all of these double standards but,
I love my self this way.
