What's that smell?
Oh no! It's me!
I'm melting!
Goodbye ice cream,
you were so cool!
Goodbye nachos,
you were always fun at parties.
I will miss the juicy steak dinners
that I loving kept fresh.
Oh mayonaise,
the sandwiches we could have made.
Those bright neon lights,
I leave everything to my wife, microwave.
On my way to that big kitchen in the sky.

Smiles at your humor, yeah it gave me some. I enjoy write with simple language yet has something to tell us.
Thank you for the sweet ice creamy poem here

How...dare I say... Americana! Reminds me of an art exhibit I saw at the Muesuem of Modern Art that was an encassed thing of ceramic food items. It was one of my favorites. It said a lot more about value than some of teh abstrac stuff.

Oh no I am always scared when the power goes out in a storm that we will loose all our food in the refrig and freezer and oh how would it stink if that would happen. What a funny write I so enjoyed reading. Happy early birthday, have a wonderful day, hugs and love Theresa

Had fridge trouble too once - wouldn't freeze and water ran out and caused my laminate floor to buckle - still a mess. Fridges are so expensive too. Liked the humor in these lines, cute.

The bummed out, without a doubt, Appliance Blues! At least you still have a bit of humor left in you, thank goodness! You may need it when they tell you how much the new unit will cost you.
Good contempoary Pop write!
