Anoter excellent poem and this time I spelled excellent properly;-)
This is a very beautiful exspression of love, and it is well presented with a wonderful picture of the girl with her knight. You write with such feeling and grace. I find this to be a remarkable poem. One tiny detail I would change. In line 5 of the first stanza I would remove the 's' from the end of feelings. This is a splendid and moving poem.

I think you have penned the ideal. I think most men want to be the "knight in shining amour" and rescue a maiden from all her pain and trials. Both men and woman want to be known and accepted for who they truly are.We want more than sensual love. We want intimacy - to be known and loved.
Knowing some of the pain you have been through helps me understand this piece from a personal level. It tugs at my heart and soul.
