My life unfolds like the book you spoke of,

The book you can’t put down.

And as you study the brittle, frail pages

As your hands hold the broken spine

Weakened and stretched by the readers before you

You realize; God wrote this book too.

This book is not an easy read.

It’s not a weekend novelette.

It’s the story of our lives.

Printed, black… white… red (if we’re lucky).

Published and released to the public

As far more than a pop culture manifesto

Or a handy guide to… whatever people still look for.

It’s full of poetry, and lyrics

Stories of late night car rides, and space travel.

Conversations about the deepest issues

Slipped in between bouts of small talk.

Line for line the plotline twists and tangles

Never leading on to what the next chapter holds.

Still, we read on.

I just really like the big picture this piece conveys...
    with it's superb title .....
I think it's a knock out piece my brother...
You take on a massive overview with ease and cleverness of a true poet...
I'm going to add you to my favs my friend...
i really like your perspective and how you observe and convey...
    you have an obvious talent.....

    Peace my brother,
    Liam

Intriguing look at life from a pre-determined attitude. Indeed, if it is already written, why do we need to read? Life is a great adventure, and I for one don't want to flip quickly to the end to see how it all works out - I know that already...
