A Trip of the Tongue

lost, no pocket dictionary,
the percussion instruments follow,
my footsteps,
girl turned a bloody blonde,
strung up by a shoulder blade,
akimbo,
an off-beat cowbell
drowns
clavichords those
things with the strings cut from my throat,
location of this heart,
"rr" careens across the sky,
because, where else could it be?
here with this girl,
this footstep of mine,
missing streetlights,
without a dictionary,
walking on pointe, towards an invisible day,
that is
late,
later,
the night winds spent.

This is quite interesting. You have used such unique imagery, and I liked that. It leaves the mind to wander. I liked the title, it was pretty fitting. Nice descriptions of the girl as well, I could really imagine it. A short but powerful piece. Thanks for entering and good luck.

wow mesmerizing the only part I didn't get was the 'rr' careens across the sky..you could have done without that part.
