Filled with love
And no place to put it
I should have known better
But I couldn’t help myself.
His charm and playfulness
Caught me off guard
And now I’m left with
A broken heart that
Longs for his touch,
His words that sooth me
And his love that makes
Me feel whole once again.
If only I could turn back time
To a place that was happy for
The two of us. A place that we both
Enjoyed, danced, laughed, sang.
Perhaps this was destined to happen like this.
Who knows? All I do know is that my heart
Is hurting and I long for time to turn around,
Back to where we were happy.

a wondrous poem that sparkles like stars, ah we can not turn time in its tracks, we can only live for the moments that are yet to arrive and live in hope that we find sighs that smile and twist us into those crazy button shapes i have been talking of for years
