Nails

We are rusted and forgotten. We have and never will digress.
Each of us has borne a similar pain; resounding. We are brethren.
We built your home and yet ask nothing in return.
Witnesses to terrible cruelty and great love are we.
Unbiased, reserving our judgments to the one to whom they belong, continuing dutifully.
It is not for us to judge, for but one needled retribution could destroy a person.
Our’s is to serve as we we’re created.
…What great nails were they that pierced hand, foot, and tree.

What needs to be fixed or improved and what are your thoughts on the song

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!
