{Reflections}

It was like looking in a mirror for the first time,
And I could tell by my stare I didn’t like what I saw.
I know that I can try and forget you for a day or two,
But don’t tell me that I never felt the way I do about you.

[chorus]
So keep looking out for that sunrise,
And keep looking for those smiles.
Keep searching for those secrets,
It might take you a while,
Don’t ignore the teardrops,
Baby they were for you,
Just keep looking down at me,
I miss you.

Perfection was our definition,
Forever was our aim,
I guess things never worked out the way we wanted,
But baby, I need you like the moon needs the night
So I’ll just keep wishing upon that star,
Until I have you back in my arms.

(chorus)

Is this what we have left,
Broken hearts and broken smiles?
When the lovers sunset faded away,
We couldn’t escape what was bound to happen anyway.
All I know is I miss you,
And I need you back tonight….

(chorus)

So i’ll keep looking out for that sunrise,
And I’ll keep wearing my smile.
I stopped searching for those secrets,
It took me a while,
Don’t ignore the teardrops,
Baby they are for you,
Don’t stop looking down at me,
I miss you.

End.
